Zorn climbed up into a tree and hid for the night out in the rain.

Gelprys had taken to his room at the inn.

The day soon passed unto the next and the weather had eased somewhat over the night. It was stil raining but not nearly as hard as before.

Gelprys ate at a table that morning to ward off a looming headache from the night's joy.

Zorn had a rough night and slowly made his way out of the tree and checken himself over discovering he was missing his only possession. He couldn't go back to town now for his own sake.

Gelprys got off the chair and on the way out set a clinky pouch on the front counter, "Thanks for the fun." He walked out of the inn.

After resining himself to defeat zorn started to slog through mud on his way to another town

Gelprys usually prepared himself for a trek. with his pack on his back he headed out.

The kobold wasn't able to get far quickly due to the rough terrain.

Gelprys looked around for the figure. As he hadn't been of the best mind last night his judgement of of appearances mistake him.

Zorn soon heard sounds around himself and up ahead was a human with a sword "thought ya could get away did ye?"

Gelprys heard angry voices and he followed them.

3 humans had surrounded the zorn who was already resigned to fighting, he had taken a battle stance.

Gelprys arrived, "What's going on?" He asked.

"were just about to put this kobold down so he doesn't bring his whole tribe down on our town."

"I won't just let me be, I won't return promise!"

Gelprys thought he would make an attempt to persuade the assailants.

"What if this Kobold isn't in a tribe? He neither has the appearance of a scout, nor a mark signifying ambassador status. Why don't we play nice and keep the situation fair?" Gelprys said.

"I mean it was fine when he stayed in the town." The man said lowering his weapon.

"we cannot take such a risk" one of the other men said "one kobold is strong enough but they are more dangerous when they are together."

"No different from goblins they are" another man

The goblin comment made zorn hiss in anger "I am not some ugly mud rat!"

Gelprys took a stance, "Don't make a mistake you'll regret."

Zorn looked at the others around him calmly

"I won't regret anythin" the 3rd man said and attacked zorn.

With his first hit Zorn had the man gasping for air and the second hit had him knocked out cold.

(holy crap I have them set as simple bandits for scaling and he took out all of the guys hp exactly)

Gelprys dropped his stance, "That's impressive."

Zorn looked to the other two men "he lives, it would be best if you took him home"
