You wake up on the shores of a land called Faerûn. You don't remember what happened but you've just begun to wonder in the hopes of finding anything. After a few days you find a town hungry and tired  your story begins.....

Shall we?

Zorn was meditating outside of a small town as he usually did. Being a Kobold made entering town a little bit of a challenge as his kind was seen in a similar likeness to that of goblins. Getting food was simple because people gave him just enough to survive off of.

Gelprys Arpos, Halfling, was quite a character. He had a way with his tongue that his words hold weight Amon any class of folk. He was a good person and would do just about anything to save a person in danger. Even if it meant putting a fellow Halfling in the path of danger.

Heavy rain clouds were rolling in from the sea as a storm shifted towards the town. Zorn felt the change and slipped away around the outskirts of town. There was an inn he could sneak into to shelter from the bad weather.

Gelprys had been enjoying his pint of ale within the tavern and inn. Well, one could say it was like his twentieth or so pint. Many had forgotten. He was singing songs.

Other patrons were singing along as more joining in as the storm hit outside.

Gelprys had his eyes on the door as if he were hunted down, but he hadn't particularly made anyone mad.

The inn keeper sent someone to retrieve supplies from storage while he continued to serve alcohol and food.

Gelprys never gave anyone his true name. He used an alias, "Noct." He had finished his pint and slammed it on the table.

When the pint hit the table the inn worker burst through the door throwing a hissing robed bundle onto the floor "foun dis un goin through our stores!"

The creature sat up in the now quiet room. It was the kobold that was always near the entrance of town.

The small beast looked up at the half orc that towered over him as if contemplating its escape. "I didn't touch anything" he hissed

Gelprys had gazed at the bundle with a drunken gaze when it had been thrown down, "Hmm?" The singing stopped and the crowd parted to stare at the bundle as well. When it stood up, he reacted quite slowly and watched the scene as it seemed the crowd wasn't yet ready to party again.

"you should know better than to be hiden in my storage room after the last time." The inn keeper said  "I think well put you in the stocks for a day or so."

The kobold used its tail to throw a chair at the half orc as a distraction so he could get out the door.

The Kobold managed to get outside, but in its rush it dropped a large coin with a strange shape etched into it.

Gelprys had always been faster and sneakier than most other folk and he retrieved the coin before any had noticed.

Some of the patrons from the inn and the half orc chased zorn out into the rain and to the edge of town. He couldn't gk back anymore so he kept running until he thought it was safe.

Gelprys stuffed the coin within his pocket and decided he would return the coin to the figure in the morning after a long sobering.
