The door opened and an owl walked ine began to change to his human like form some feathers remained in his hair.

Scarlett stood beside Detra and watched in awe, as the man had changed from an owl before her eyes.

"detra it has been days" the owl man said

"Wynn you look like you should take a year long nap." Detra said

Scarlett said nothing as she stood there waiting patiently.

"Here sit." Wynn said gesturing to some chairs that were not there a moment ago.

"Talented mage." Scarlett whispered.

Wynn and detra sat down. "you have come for my help, what has happened"

Scarlett sat down and wanted Detra to talk.

"someone is using landon to harm my friend scarlett she said looking to scarlett for a moment "I think humans are trying to use another species to do it."

Scarlett looked at Detra. Then she looked at Wynn. She gave him a short greeting wave, but she was silent as to avoid interrupting the conversation.

"so you think the humans think she's special and you want me to find out why." Wynn said curious now.

Scarlett was afraid of using her powers within the library, as she thought she would damage something.

"i will try the easy way first" he said looking to scarlett" what do you think makes you special

Scarlett hesitated, "I am a Neko. Humans don't really like my kind."

"actually they like your kind better than most "wynn said.

"Yeah, still..." Scarlett said, "I don't know, maybe hey seem me too powerful."

"too powerful? Explain" wynn asked

Scarlett gulped.

Scarlett looked at Detra. Then, she looked back at Wynn and said, "I don't think an explanation is the best way to do this... I need to demonstrate, and I don't want to damage anything."

"I see then let me"wynn put out his hands and spell circles started glowing in the air around them creating a dome. A moment more and they faded away he held his hands our still tweaking the spell for another few seconds before putting his hands down "it is safe now"

Scarlett almost jumped, but she tried to keep her composure. She slowly removed her gloves one by one. She first created a crystal ball with ice in her hand much like before, but soon after she threw it in the air with a burst, snow fell from almost nothing.

"i... my word this is indeed a major discovery." Wynn said

Scarlett looked around at the snow and smiled, "That is another reason I'm disliked."

"its not as mig of a thing in this town. Some will see youbas a lesser being and take offense to how much power you have but most will see you as a sign of our real powers returning to us."
