"its supposed to be like my badge but more for symbolism than function. If a pokemon is defeated in a dungeon our badge can take us to safty but we can activate the power at will as well. My guild found a way to talk to guildmembers and our home guild with them too." Broly said he didn't say everything but that was infomation he couldn't share or choose not to.
