"Do you wanna do that?" Silver asked. He had really been asking both Warren and Levin.

Silver had waited for the waiter's return before requesting their food bagged. Eventually, the waiter returned with bags and they were on their way.

They approached the crowd" its alot of people maybe we can find a place to see overhead?"

"Think we'll get I trouble on the roof?" Silver asked, "Give us room for our Pokémon to view it."

"I don't know we could try and see"

Silver gave Warren a nod and looked for the closest tall roof and when he found it walked toward it.

Silver looked around for the ladder and climbed. "Turns out the restaurant is pretty tall."

"hmm, just be careful."

Silver made it to the top and the wind was stronger. "This is nice! I can breathe! ... Let's hurry!" He said running.

Watren followed and they found a spot to see from.

Silver sent out his Pokémon. His Oricorio, Janus and Dartrix. "We're about to see something awesome!"

Janus seemed more nervous about her location so high up

The voices of the crowd died as a completely costumed individual walked upon the stage. A mask covered their face. They almost had the appearance of a court jester."Welcome everybody, to today's exhibition match between champion and elite four member. However... I have asked the judges for their consent on a change of plans. They have obliged on the condition it only be a one-on-one match. My condition be that I am allowed the choice of any member of the audience I so choose."
Silver gasped as he took a bite and almost choked. He spoke through the food, "That's what all this is about!? Awesome!" He shard a bite with Janus.

Silver looked to Warren and said, "Yeah, I wonder who they will pick."
The costumes figure looked around among the crowd then spoke, "The champion and the elite four have also agreed this allowance."
The crowd gasped.
"Wait this isn't the champion? A stand-in? But how?! What happened to the champion and elite four?" Silver asked Warren.

"I don't know." Warren said thoughtfully

The character on the stage scanned the crowd up and down. "I believe I've found our guest battler." They eyed Silver on the balcony. They pointed their finger and gesture with it towards themselves.
Silver jumped,"What!?'

"Well with all of your Pokemon out its hard to miss you" warren said teasingly
