Trainers Of Chaos

"You battled well, Zuko." Bria said scratching him between the ears.
Zuko looked around, "Hmm, test subject? Let's not worry about it i guess. Let's go find Akane! She probably in trouble!"
Zuko nodded and followed after her.

Bria's phone rang

Bria stopped to see who was calling.

The call was akanes mother

"Y-Yes, Akane's mum!?" Bria answered.

"Bria dear, I'm not sure where you are but I need you to bring Akane home" the professor said calmny and softly. The way she spoke gave a feeling that something was wrong.

(bria by now knows akan streams her battles.)

"I-I was already on the lookout for her, but some dude in weird outfits distracted me. I swear they all look the same... Anyway, do you know where she is!? I'm worried she got into the wrong battle!" Bria said.

"she seemed to be by a ridge over water...and bria, its bad, she's not going to be ok"

Bria said, "I'll get her home right away!" she sent Zuko out to scout around with her splitting up in the heavy rain.

It did take some time but akane was found kneeling in the mud and holding something in her arms.

Zuko had seen Akane and called for Bria to come back.
Bria came in almost an instant and she looked at Akane.
They both ran down.

Akane was still in shock.

Bria called out, "Akane! Are you okay!?" she and Zuko ran up to her side. "I was hoping I wouldn't be late, but some things kept me."

As they got closer the Pokemon akane held became more visible but it was hard...almost impossible to tell that it was Kite he was burned so badly.

Akane had burns on her body too and a pile of empty potions beside her.

"Come on, Akane. Let get back to town." Bria said. "Your mother said the flying taxis are unavailable because of the weather. It'll be alright, my friend." she promised. "Nevertheless, we must hurry, you look really hurt."

Akane looked at Bria as if just noticing her just now.

Bria attempted to help Akane up, "Come. You're hurt and need help." she attempted to be more calm, but her tone became more stern as they were delayed.

Akane stood and quietly let bria walk her to town hugging kite close to her chest. She seemed distant.

Bria offered about halfway along the trip, "Would you like a super potion, Akane?"

"he's...too damaged" akane said with a dry throat

"Oh, Akane. I'm so sorry." Bria said, but remained silent the rest of the trip.

They went to the pokemon center and kite was taken to surgery.

Bria placed a hand on Akane's shoulder, "He'll be OK, Akane." she said. However, she felt unsure.

Akane was quiet and refused to go to a room to be treated so a nurse helped her where she sat.

Bria smiled, "Here, I have something." she said to Akane as she reached in her bag.
