The Donphan took the take down with minimal damage as curse raised its already high defenses.
"Curse!" The trainer commanded.
The donphan performed the attack.

Akane ordered kite to back off for now so he could recover.

The trainer said, "My Donpahn may be slow, but curse raises its defense and attack at the same time."

The trainer said, "Hold position."
The Donphan nodded and had complete trust in its trainer.

"now were at a stand still. You have to knock out kite before your donphan runs out of energy to battle.

"Run at the Bulbasaur! Remember the training!" The trainer commanded.
The Donphan cheered before running at Kite

Kite use your vines and disloge the ground since he was kind enough to loosen the earth for us.

Kite sent large chunks of the ground into the air at was a little distracting and put a gap in the ground between them.

The trainer grinned, "Gyro Ball!"
The donphan curled up and attacked the rocks to try getting the opponent

The donphan stopped and looked around.
The trainer waited for the smoke to clear.

Kite when he comes in to attack dodge and use take down

The smoke cleared, "Okay, attack, but stay close to the rocks."

"bulbasaur..." kite said (your boreing me) talking to donphan

The donphan didn't respond. He reached for the bulbasaur a took it into it's snout and attempted to squeeze.

"he doesn't have a berry now, sleep powder" akane said".

kite created another cloud of powder engulfing both pokemon.

"Protect!" The trainer said.

"Keep it up kite" akane said

The Donphan moved about to avoid the spray of powder.

Silver sighed, "What is up with this battle?"

"I don't know i think I may need to change tactics because this guy is too stubborn to switch pokemon. I can win with kite but his tactics area bit funny. Its kinda hard to avoid sleep powder when holding the source so close.

"Looks like the Donphan is falling asleep." Silver whispered.

Akane didn't react mostly focused on the battle. "its my win." Akane said the battle had been going for a while with donphans energy being drained constantly.

The donphan panted.
"No!" The trainer gasped.

The bulbasar began to try to wriggle free.

The donphan fell asleep, but didn't loose its grip on Kite.
