Leaf nodded, "Yeah, I agree!" and she went to a seat and sat.

Harley sat across from her still wagging his tail

Leaf grinned, "It smells so good in here."

Harley was looking better now that he was away from the explorers

(he doesn't know to do that but maybe after the next encounter with broly she may make the move herself. Its not common but its more modern now.)

"What was it like, Harley, being with your mother?"Leaf asked.

When I was younger she was always around unless she was getting food. We played alot, when i got older she would leave for longer amounts of time. Soon after I started to get curious and I went into towns. I even got food sometimes."

"When did you find out she attacked explorers?" Leaf whispered.

"When I saw her on posters, someone read it to me." Harley said sounding sad

"Oh, Harley, I'm still so sorry. So so sorry." Leaf whined to Harley.

"I know. Maybe if I did things differently she would be better. She probably feels like I betrayed her."

Leaf said reluctantly, "Her heart was tainted, Harley... She was evil." she looked downed shameful of her words, "I'm sorry..."

"But if I did something sooner..."

"It wasn't your fault, something just triggered her."

"But i did betray her leaf"

Leaf didn't reply. Harley was right. He and she did attack Lycanroc.

"If it was so easy for me to hurt her, my mother then am i bad inside too."

"No. Think of all the Pokémon you helped by stopping her. She was out for needless revenge, words wouldn't have swayed her. She would've killed me."

Harley looked at her a moment

"hello you seemed to be in an important conversation so pardon my intrusion but can I get you something" it was the jolteon.

"I would like a cinnamon roll, please." Leaf said..

"that sounds interesting ill have one too" Harley said

"straight shot to our new items" the jolteon said. "I will be right back"

"Thank you!" Leaf grinned.

Harley watched her go then looked back to leaf.

"I wonder how small businesses like these stay in competition against the big places." Leaf wondered.

"yo uh could ask" Harley said "but something tells me that they have a reputation"

"Yeah reputation sounds right." Leaf meowed.
